Halldors Café in Brydebúð

Halldors Café is named after the shopkeeper, Halldór Jónsson. He was a pioneer in the commerce business in Vik but his initiative resulted in the fact that Bryde and later, more people started their own shopping management in Vik. This led to the forming of the village Vík.

Halldors Café is in the east end of Brydebúð and carries with it the charm of the past. The café offers refreshments and light dishes.

Halldors Café is open every day during the summer from 11:00 to 23:00, Sundays to Fridays. And from 11:00 to 02:00 on Saturdays. In the winter it's open from 18:00 to 23:00 on Fridays and from 18:00 to 02:00 on Saturdays.

Art exhibitions take place in Halldors Café all year round.
